The Providence Chapter hosted a Patriots-Dolphins Watch Party on Sunday, September 12th, to fundraiser for our community member, Jaclyn Bagdasarian, who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in August. She and her husband Andrew Bagdasarian have moved down to Houston, Texas so that they can get the best treatment possible. The Homenetmen Chapter wanted to help which led to this fundraiser. The community met in the Youth Room of Sts. Vartanantz Church to watch the Football Season Opening Game of the New England Patriots vs. the Miami Dolphins. Food and drinks were provided by the Homenetmen Chapter and pizza was donated by Pizza Palace. At half-time a raffle was held as a way to help raise more funds. All together we were able to raise over $6,000 dollars!
We are so thankful for everyone who helped and donated to our fundraiser. It is always amazing when the community rallies together for a great cause. We would like to give a special thanks to Rebecca Rafaelian for her donation of $3,000, to Charles (Chuck) Mouradjian for his donation of $1,000, to John Mangassarian for his donation of 2 Red Sox tickets for the raffle, Camille Greogorian for her donation of two beautiful paintings for the raffle, and to Hasmik Parsadanyan for creating 4 gift baskets for the raffle.
